An orca, a nuthatch and a cat walk into a bar.
The bartender asks, “What would you like, Miss Orca?”
The whale says, “I’d like a bath tub filled with gin.”
“Coming right up,” says the bartender. “How about you, little fella?”
“I’d like a thimble filled with vodka,” replies the nuthatch.
“You got it! Ok, cat, you’re up next. What’ll it be?”
“I would like the world’s finest Planter’s Punch. Please fetch the following ingredients: freshly squeezed juice from a kaffir lime obtained from a grove in Southeast Asia; simple syrup, made from organic, fair trade sugar; angostura bitters, flown in from Trinidad and Tobago; rum from Cuba…how about Havana Club Añejo…aged for 7 years. These should be shaken, not stirred; then strained into a Collins glass over crushed ice, topped with a splash of soda water and garnished with a mint sprig. Then, dump the drink down the sink!”
The bartender looks at the cat incredulously and asks, “Why on earth would you go to all that trouble and not even have the darned drink?”
The cat says, “Well, like this joke, I’m all set up and no punch…line!”
